AirAsia, the pioneer of low cost travel in the region, has announced a new flight path between Makassar and Singapore. Beginning July 1, four flights weekly will begin operation. A brand new Airbus A320 will service the path between Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport and Changi Airport. In conjunction with the new route launch, AirAsia is offering promotional fares from as low as US$52 before taxes and fees to Makassar, direct from Singapore one way. The discounted fares are available for booking from now till June 16, for travel between July 1 to August 15. The 180-seat flight capacity will strive to meet the growing demand of consumers in Makassar and new travel options to Singaporean travelers. AirAsia flies direct from Singapore to six Indonesian cities total, with 15 direct routes from Singapore to the region.
