BA and Cathay Form AUS Codeshare

Passengers traveling to and from Australia will have greater choice when booking flights after British Airways and Cathay Pacific announced a new codeshare deal. Tickets for codeshare flights beginning March 31 are on sale now. BA customers flying from Australia will be able to connect via Hong Kong to Cathay flights departing to Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. These routes will bear the BA code, and will operate in addition to the Heathrow-based carrier’s daily flights to Sydney via Singapore.
