After a nearly 15-year absence, British Airways will resume service between London and Kuala Lumpur. British Airways began flying to Malaysia in 1933, with a flight from London Croydon Airport to Alor Setar. The original flight made 22 stops over nine days before reaching Malaysia. Today, the flight takes around 13 hours with no stops. The daily flight will be operated with a Boeing 777-200ER featuring 12 first-class seats, 48 Club World, 32 World Traveler Plus, and 127 in World Traveler. Flight BA033 will depart London Heathrow at 8:15 p.m. and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 4:00 p.m. The return flight, BA034, will depart at 11:05 p.m. and arrive at 5:25 a.m. Return fares start from US$1,160 for economy and US$5,211 for business.
