Cathay Pacific is now operating a daily flight between Doha and Hong Kong, marking the airline’s fourth destination in the Middle East. The route is a result of a codeshare agreement with Qatar Airways, which formerly operated two Hong Kong–Doha trips daily but handed one over to Cathay in order to offer passengers of both award-winning airlines more travel options when traveling to and from these international hubs. Cathay Pacific has also recruited Tosca, the Italian dining room at the Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, to create first- and business-class menus for select outbound flights. Until the end of July, premier passengers flying to the airline’s major regional and long-haul destinations can expect such things as buffalo salami with grilled focaccia, cannelloni with eggplant and pancetta stew, pesto-dressed sea bass, and traditional tiramisu.
