Etihad Airways to Launch Third Daily Abu Dhabi-Bangkok Service

Etihad Airways will launch a third daily service on the Abu Dhabi-Bangkok route with a Boeing 777-300ER from April 15. It’s encouraging travel to Thailand with code-share agreements and the “Amazing Thailand” marketing program run in cooperation with the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

The airline recently announced strong financial results for the first quarter of 2012 (its strongest ever), with a 28 percent rise in revenue over the corresponding period in 2011 and passenger numbers increasing by 500,000 to 2.4 million. It also announced plans for a future service to Vietnam.
