Etihad Airways has unveiled its newest executive lounge in Washington D.C., just a few days after the maiden flight between Abu Dhabi and the U.S. capital touched down in Dulles Airport. The two-level facility is located next to the departure gate at Terminal A and includes a quiet area with Apple workstations and an entertainment area for children. Diamond First and Pearl Business passengers will also be able to take advantage of complimentary limousine transfers to and from a 100-kilometer radius of Dulles. The new 500-square-meter facility is part of a US$50 million investment program to improve the airline’s offering for First and Business passengers—Dublin, Frankfurt, London, Manchester, and Paris have already cut the ribbon on the new waiting areas, and three more are in the pipeline at Melbourne, New York, and Sydney airports.
