Garuda Indonesia will offer some interesting routes in the coming weeks and months.
One service will connect Bali (Denpasar) with Tokyo (Haneda) from April 27. The five-times-weekly flights will be serviced by the Airbus A330-300. The airline already flies from Bali to Tokyo’s Narita airport.
The airline will also connect Jakarta with Taipei starting May 19. The daily Jakarta-Taipei flights will be serviced by the Boeing 737-800.
Domestically, it will offer a new route from Bandung to Surabaya starting February 10.
Garuda will cease, however, its Denpasar-Nagoya service on April 10 due to a decline in demand following the tsunami that devastated Japan in March last year. And it will reduce its flights between Jakarta and Amsterdam by about half starting on March 1, due to the economic conditions in Europe.
