Garuda Indonesia Resumes Jakarta-Taipei Service

Last night Garuda Indonesia resumed its Jakarta-Taipei service, which it had dropped in 2004. The daily flight leaves Jakarta at 11:45 p.m. and arrives in Taipei at 6:15 a.m. The flight leaves Taipei at 9:50 a.m and arrives in Jakarta at 2:10 p.m. The airline is employing a B737-800NG aircraft on the route. The aircraft has 156 seats, 12 of which are business class.

Garuda Indonesia has a code share agreement with Taiwan flag carrier China Airlines, so passengers will be able to seamlessly switch to that airline and continue to the many destinations it serves from Taipei, such as San Fransisco and Los Angeles.
