Garuda Plans Resumption of Jakarta-Auckland Service

Garuda Indonesia will resume flights between Jakarta and Auckland. It’s been over five years since the airline offered a service between the two destinations, but a just-signed agreement with Auckland Airport means it will ply the route once more — at some point. The exact date of resumption has yet to be decided, but Garuda has indicated it will use Airbus A330-300 on the route. Garuda recently agreed to purchase 11 additional Airbus A330-300 to add to those it already uses.
