Last flown in 1978, Garuda Indonesia has reinstated direct Jakarta-Tokyo Haneda service to meet burgeoning demand and link codeshare flights to the U.S. GA874 departs Jakarta daily at 1:05 p.m. and arrive in Haneda at 10:35 p.m. The return flight, GA875, departs Haneda daily at 12:30 a.m. and arrives in Jakarta at 6:00 a.m. Garuda’s latest Airbus A330-300 will serve the route in a two-class layout—business class with 36 seats and economy class with 215 seats. The new route is complimentary to Garuda’s SkyTeam codeshare alliance with Delta Air Lines flights’ to Los Angeles and Seattle as well as codeshare with ANA flights. Garuda currently operates 39 weekly flights to Japan including Osaka and Tokyo-Narita.
