Jetstar has announced it will launch a thrice-weekly non-stop service between Singapore and Osaka from November 1. The route will be an extension to an existing service between Darwin and Singapore.
Singapore’s Straits Times reports that the leg between Darwin-Singapore will be operated by an A321, while the long-haul Singapore-Osaka journey will be flown by an A330, with both economy and business classes.
The new route takes Jetstar to 31 international flights per week to Japan’s third-largest city. Long-haul flights leave Cairns and the Gold Coast and short hops already exist from Manila and Singapore (via Taipei).
