Korean Air will launch a new route to Houston, Texas from Seoul, Korea beginning May 2, 2014. A Boeing 777-200 aircraft equipped with Business Class will service the non-stop route every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday departing at 10:40 a.m. from Bush Intercontinental Airport and arriving in Seoul at 3:30 p.m. the next day. The return flight is scheduled to depart Seoul at 9:10 a.m. and arrive at 8:30 a.m. The flight will have a 248-seat capacity. Houston is Korean Air’s 14th destination in the Americas. Other locations include Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver and Washington, D. C. “We see continued opportunities in the Americas through our own efforts and through our membership in the SkyTeam alliance. And we’ll add more capacity in a variety of other U.S. markets during the upcoming spring and summer seasons,” says John Jackson, the airline’s vice president of marketing for North and South America.
