Mandala Airlines Launches Medan-Singapore Service

Indonesia’s low-cost carrier Mandala Airlines launched a daily Medan-Singapore service today.

The airline was grounded early last year due to debt problems. Tiger Airways is now an investor, and its booking system has greatly simplified the process of booking flights with Mandala.

Mandala is currently offering one-way sale fares of about US$40 from Medan to Singapore and $25 in the other direction.
