After recently announcing a slew of new routes to Dubai, Darwin, Kochi, Yangon, and Auckland in line with its winter 2013 international operations, Malaysia Airlines revealed additional flights to Kathmandu and a new route to Tokyo.
MAS will now fly twice daily to the Nepalese capital, departing Kuala Lumpur at 9:55 a.m. and arriving in Kathmandu at 12:30 p.m., or leaving at 7:55 p.m. and landing at 22:30 p.m.
From Kathmandu, MAS will depart at 1:20 p.m. and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 8:20 p.m., or leave at 11:30 p.m. and land at 6:30 a.m. the next day. The new schedule takes effect on October 27.
For Japan, MAS has cancelled its twice weekly flights to from Kota Kinabalu to Osaka Kansai but has added a thrice weekly route from Kota Kinabalu to Tokyo Narita. The Japan schedule will take effect on October 28.
