Mihin Lanka Adds Jakarta Flight

Sri Lanka’s small but plucky low-cost carrier Mihin Lanka will be increasing its Colombo–Jakarta service on May 3 from six to seven flights a week, using a newly purchased Airbus A321 on the four-and-a-half-hour journey. A current online offer prices the return fare from LKR 44,200 (US$350) plus tax. Mihin Lanka’s international route map takes in a handful of destinations in South Asia and the Gulf region; Jakarta is its only Southeast Asian stop, though it code-shares with Sri Lankan Airlines on Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore routes.
