Scoot, the no-frills offshoot of Singapore Airlines, is to expand its routemap with a flight to China’s ancient capital beginning June 3. The thrice-weekly service will depart from Changi Airport on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday at 10:45 a.m. to arrive in the Jiangsu-province city at 3:30 p.m. The inbound flight takes off from Nanjing at 5 p.m. to arrive back in Singapore at 10 p.m. Nanjing marks the 11th destination for Scoot overall, and its fourth Chinese service—joining Qingdao, Shenyang, and Tianjin. To promote the new route, Scoot is offering fares from US$80 for economy passengers and US$200 for travelers in its ScootBiz class—these rates are available until April 10.
