Nok Air to Add Bangkok-Chiang Rai Flights

Low-cost carrier Nok Air plans to launch on December 28 a twice-daily route between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and the northern Thai city of Chiang Rai, which is a jumping-off point for exploring the Golden Triangle. Flights will leave Bangkok at 9:20 am and 3:25 pm each day, and return from Chiang Rai at 11:05 am and 5:10 pm.

Among the hotels and resorts in the Chiang Rai area are the Anantara Golden Triangle, the Four Seasons Tented Camp, and Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort.

Chiang Rai is also served by AirAsia and Thai Airways. Nok Air already flies to many domestic destinations in Thailand, reaching nearly 20 different provinces.
