Korean Air to Start A380 Flights Between Seoul and Frankfurt

Korean Air will launch A380 flights between Seoul Incheon, South Korea, and Frankfurt, Germany, on March 25. The service will depart Seoul daily at 12:50, arriving in Frankfurt at 17:45 the same day. The return service will leave Frankfurt at 19:45 and arrive in Seoul at 13:05 the next day.

“Our A380 flight is a game changer for Frankfurt,” said Korean Air’s regional manager for the Frankfurt Office, Sung Hwan Jung. “Our exclusive upstairs Prestige Class, Duty Free Showcase, the hosted Celestial Bar and other lounges, combined with the roominess of the A380 aircraft, will provide our passengers with an unparalleled travelling experience.”

The airline’s A380 has a total of just 407 seats, including 12 first class seats, 301 economy class seats on the first level, and 94 lie-flat prestige (business) class seats on the upper level.

Korean Air currently operates five A380 aircrafts, which fly to destinations such as New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
