Shanghai used to be called the “Paris of the East,” but it’s been over four years since Air China dropped its service connecting Shanghai Pudong and Paris Charles de Gaulle. On March 10, however, the airline relaunched the service. Now it flies to three European cities out of Shanghai: Frankfurt, Milan, and Paris. The service will run five times a week and employ Airbus A340-300 aircraft. The airline faces competition from Air France and China Eastern.
