SilkAir to Offer Singapore-Hanoi Service from June 5

SilkAir will offer a Singapore-Hanoi service beginning on June 5. The service will run three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The airline is a full-service offshoot of Singapore Airlines, which already has daily flights to Hanoi. It’s unusual for related airlines to offer the same destination, but in this case the services complement each other.

SilkAir will employ Airbus A320-200 aircraft on the route, leaving Singapore at 3:15 p.m. and arriving in Hanoi at 5:35 p.m. Flights will depart Hanoi at 6:30 p.m., arriving in Singapore at 10:50 p.m.

SilkAir also recently launched services between Singapore and Darwin, Australia.
