THAI Smile to Start Bangkok-Macau Flights on July 7


THAI Smile, the new budget carrier of Thai Airways, is scheduled to begin operations on July 7 with its inaugural flight between Bangkok and Macau.

The twice-daily nonstop service will employ the airline’s new Airbus A320-200 aircraft. With a 174-seat configuration, the aircraft will feature economy class only, though the first rows will consist of 30 ‘Smile Plus’ seats with additional leg room and enhanced inflight services.

The carrier is scheduled to commence service between Bangkok and Krabi, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Surat Thani later this year.

The airline’s hub in Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. More domestic and international destinations (within three hours of Bangkok) will follow.
