Along with Air France’s introduction of new cabins on select Boeing 777 airplanes, the airline will increase its capacity this summer by 1.7 percent compared to last year. Key capacity increases will occur in South and Central America when Air France launches three weekly flights to Brasilia, Brazil from March 31, 2014. From June there will be four weekly flights to Lima, Peru serviced with a Boeing 777-300 along with daily service to Montevideo, Uruguay via Buenos Aires and Panama City three times per week. In North America Air France has commenced daily service to San Francisco with an Airbus A380 and increased capacity to Atlanta with a Boeing 747 for the summer season and Toronto for the high season. Service to Mexico will increase to three weekly frequencies for a total of 10 flights operated by Air France. In Asia the airline will launch two daily flights to Tokyo-Haneda airport and maintain daily flights to Tokyo-Narita. An A380 will be operated on flights to Hong Kong from May 27 to October 25.
