Beginning March 29, 2015, Cathay Pacific will begin servicing Hong Kong to Zurich with nonstop daily flights on its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The flight is meant to connect two major transportation and business hubs of Asia and Europe respectively, also keeping in mind Zurich’s being a major destination for travelers in Europe with its location in the heart of Switzerland. “We are very pleased to be able to add Zurich to our growing international network. Zurich and Hong Kong are two of the world’s leading financial centres, where people appreciate high standards of service, and we are seeing considerable demand for a quality travel experience, especially on long-haul routes,” said Cathay Pacific chief executive Ivan Chu. The airline recently announced operations between Manchester and Hong Kong, as well, as it continues to grow its operations between Asia and Europe. The Boeing aircraft have four-class seating arrangements, including its award-winning business class, first class, premium economy with seats designed for long-haul flights, and economy class, all of which include state-of-the-art, on demand entertainment systems. Tickets are now available for booking.
