Beginning May 2, 2015 Cathay Pacific will fly direct from Hong Kong to Boston, marking the first ever nonstop service between the two destinations. The flight will be operated using a Boeing 777-300ER four times a week in a four-class configuration, including first class, business class, premium economy and economy. Boston will be the airline’s eighth destination in North America and its sixth gateway to the US, in addition to Chicago, Los Angeles, New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport, and San Francisco. Cathay has increased its capacity to the US this year with the launch of a daily Newark service, the addition of a fourth daily flight to Los Angeles, and three additional flights per week to Chicago.
