Japanese holidaymakers now have an additional—and more affordable—option for getting to Indonesia’s favorite holiday island. On May 24, Indonesia AirAsia X will launch four-times-weekly flights between Denpasar (Bali) and Tokyo Narita, using Airbus A330-300s with 377 seats, 12 of those in premium flatbed class.
Departing on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, the outbound service will leave Denpasar at 11 p.m. to touch down in Tokyo at 7:10 a.m. the next morning, before taking off from the Japanese capital at 8:25 a.m. to return to Bali at 2:25 p.m. local time. The journey is scheduled to take seven hours each way.
Economy class passengers can look forward to an opening promotional fare of Rp 1,190,000 (US$89), while those opting for a premium flatbed seat should expect rates from Rp 4,390,000 (US$330). Do take note that these prices are only valid for bookings through AirAsia’s website and mobile app.
