VietJet Adds Daily SGN−BKK Service


The Vietnamese low-cost carrier's international routes include Singapore, Bangkok, Taiwan, South Korean, Cambodia, Japan, and China.

VietJet Air will increase the frequency of its international route linking Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok to meet the growing demand of low-cost travel between the two destinations. The privately-owned carrier will add an extra roundtrip service between the two cities, increasing the total to three times daily starting May 18, which ups the total capacity of this route to 7,560 seats per week. The airline has also announced plans to increase the frequency of its Singapore−Ho Chi Ming City route starting May 30, though full details have not been disclosed.

The new schedules are as follows:

  • Departure from Ho Chi Minh City at 8:30 a.m., arriving in Bangkok at 10:00 a.m.
    Departure from Bangkok at 11:30 a.m., arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 1:00 p.m.
  • Departure from Ho Chi Minh City at 11:15 a.m., arriving in Bangkok at 12:45 p.m.
    Departure from Bangkok at 1:50 p.m., arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 3:20 p.m.
  • Departure from Ho Chi Minh City at 2:15 p.m., arriving in Bangkok at 3:45 p.m.
    Departure from Bangkok at 7:55 p.m., arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 9:25 p.m.
