Kicking off Singapore Art Week, ArtScience Museum’s new exhibition, Prudential Singapore Eye, will be showcasing 17 emerging and established Singapore artists. Running from January 17−June 28, the exhibition is one of the largest surveys of Singapore’s contemporary art scene to date, boasting over 40 works, which range from interactive installations to paintings, sculptures, and photography. Curated by an international panel of art experts, the exhibition is framed to reflect Singapore’s urban context, exploring its history, culture, environment, and fiction. And starting February 2, visitors can enjoy free entry to the exhibition every first Monday of each month—a first-time offering for the museum. After Singapore, the exhibition will travel to the world-renowned Saatchi Gallery in London to raise the island’s presence in the global art scene.
