Cathay Pacific Airways has expanded its presence in Europe with a new four-times-weekly service (operating on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) to Düsseldorf starting September 1, though the service is still subject to government approval. Düsseldorf will become the airline’s second destination in Germany after Frankfurt and marks the latest expansion of its European network following the launch of Manchester in December 2014 and Zurich, which will begin in March. Tickets for Düsseldorf are now open for booking.
The capital city of North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany’s most populous state), Düsseldorf is renowned as an international business center and stage for major fashion and trade fairs. To ensure the utmost comfort for passengers, the flag carrier will service the route using a Boeing 777-300ER outfitted with its refreshed First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and long-haul Economy Class seats.
