Garuda Indonesia is making some changes to its European route schedule this summer. Currently, Garuda flies from Jakarta to London five times weekly via Amsterdam, but beginning July 22, this service will drop to three times weekly. On the same day, the airline will launch its new Jakarta-Singapore-Amsterdam route, which will run thrice weekly, boosting its weekly services between Jakarta and Amsterdam to six rather than five. The return flights on the new service will skip Singapore and go directly from Amsterdam to Jakarta.
The Jakarta-Amsterdam-London route flies on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and returns on Mondays, Wednesday, and Saturdays, arriving in Jakarta the next day. The new Jakarta-Singapore-Amsterdam route flies on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and returns non-stop on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, also arriving in Jakarta the following day. Both routes are serviced by a Boeing 777-300ER.
