Art Central Hong Kong
Another art program taking place around the same time is Art Central Hong Kong, which was first launched in the city last year. Located in Hong Kong’s Central Harbour Front, it will involve up to 100 established contemporary galleries from 20 countries, 70 percent of which is said to be galleries from Asian countries, which makes the festival a great chance to witness works by up-and-coming contemporary artists within the region alongside talents from western countries. These galleries include Affinity for Art from Hong Kong, Caise Gallery from seoul, Chalk Horse from Sydney, and Alternative Collections from Paris. A slew of exciting elements will also be featured in the program, such as film showings, pop-up restaurants, as well as panel discussions on some of the hottest topics in contemporary art. Art Central Hong Kong will run from March 23 to 27.
