Mandarin Oriental Bangkok Unravels History of Thai Silk

Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is commemorating the 45th anniversary of the man who single-handedly brought Thai silk back to life with a package designed to illuminate the industry’s history. Guests will be taken on a guided tour of Jim Thompson House before enjoying a Thai massage at the hotel’s Oriental Spa. Dinner and a classical dance show follows at the Sala Rim Naam restaurant. Daily breakfast at the Verandah Terrace and a Jim Thompson silk gift are also included as part of the deal.

The Jim Thompson 45th Anniversary Package is valid from January 6 through March 31, 2013, with rates from US$534 or US$628 (dependent on single or double occupancy) per room, per night.
