Space junkies, rejoice: the Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Florida, has now added Heroes & Legends to its roster of attractions. Here, the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame commemorates the lives of America’s space pioneers, with artifacts and a 4D multisensory theater to relive the challenges and dangers they faced on those early missions. Outside the building, rockets from NASA’s Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs stand as a testament to the engineering and scientific breakthroughs of that time. Budding astronauts can also join a daily live presentation and Q&A sessions held at the Astronaut Encounter Theater to meet the men and women who are literally out of this world.
