Park Hyatt Sydney to Reopen Following Extensive Revamp

Park Hyatt Sydney

Park Hyatt Sydney is scheduled to reopen February 1 following a tip-to-toe refurbishment. Overlooking the Sydney Harbour Opera House and The Rocks, the property was closed for most of 2011 to allow for the dramatic transformation. When the hotel reopens, it will feature a new fourth floor with three rooftop suites, including the city’s largest suite at 350-square-meters. The multimillion dollar renovation also includes a complete reconfiguration of the hotel’s lower levels, introducing a larger spa, a new restaurant (The Dining Room), bars, a gym, and other recreational facilities. A number of Australian artists were commissioned to help deck out the hotel’s 155 rooms, which all feature floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto private balconies.
