Ayana is bursting with new additions this summer. Earlier this month, it completed its new wedding venue Sky, and before that, Rimba Jimbaran Bali—the smaller, sub-resort within the larger Ayana property—opened six treatment rooms in its own rooftop version of Ayana’s award-winning Thermes Marins Bali spa earlier in July. And now, Rimba has added yet another ingredient to its five-star recipe: a new Kids’ Club. In typical Rimba style, the club was designed with no expense spared to keep kids happily entertained for as long as parents would like to escape by themselves. After sneaking through a “secret” entrance in one of Rimba’s poolside cabanas, kids slide into the club space, where they’ll find a mini-cinema with sofa seating, a game room with Wii and Playstation4, two computers, an indoor rope swing, puzzles and books in a range of languages, not to mention an extensive activities program that offers everything from cooking classes with the resort’s chefs to rock-climbing to dance lessons to short field trips to Rimba’s own Balinese Hindu Temple to join the staff as they make their daily offerings of flowers.
Along with the launch of the new club, Rimba and Ayana are both offering a Family Holiday Package that includes a 50 percent discount on the second of two guest rooms booked, with breakfast for parents and two children included. As the properties are integrated, families staying at Ayana can still take advantage of all of Rimba’s facilities and vice versa, which together include 15 restaurants and bars, 11 different pools, a putting course, two spas, and a private beach. Babysitting services also ensure that every family member is well taken care of throughout their time at the resort.
