The St. Regis Hotels & Resorts this week introduced the opening of the hotel chain’s newest property in the United Arab Emirates, the St. Regis Dubai. Located within the Al Habtoor City, where two other Starwood hotels are set to open, namely the W Hotels and Westin brands, the property carries the classic design it has come to be known for, inspired by Beaux-Arts architecture from New York’s gilded age. In keeping with the ultra-luxurious facilities by other hotels that have opened up in the region, the St. Regis, too, is going big with not just 234 rooms and 51 suites, but a custom-designed Bentley Suite, to be unveiled next year, and a three-bedroom, two-story Royal Suite, which will be located in the central dome of the building. There will be dining options aplenty within the property with up to eight venues to choose from, ranging from a steakhouse, an outdoor cafe, to a champagne lounge. To hold special occasions, the 800-square-meter Astor Ballroom will be available, along with six meeting rooms and landscaped gardens for al fresco events, while its Iridium Spa promises the ultimate relaxation experience.
