On November 20 the SOS Supper Club at the Anantara resort in Bali’s Seminyak area will launch a monthly Sunday brunch. The great thing about SOS is, of course, the views of Seminyak Beach and the Indian Ocean combined with a chic lounge vibe, so a brunch on its rooftop deck should prove a winner. The brunch will be a bit on the pricey side at about US$78 per person, but that includes free-flow house wines, beers, cocktails, sparkling wines, and soft drinks. Options from the buffet will range from house cured salmon and potatoes roesti to steak and eggs featuring Angus beef tenderloin. And what would a Balinese brunch be without banana pancakes? Those will be joined by Belgian waffles with vanilla Chantilly, mango relish, caramelized palm sugar, and coconut syrup.
