Adding to the bevy of recent hotel launches in the Thai capital, the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok is set to open its doors on May 2. Convenience has clearly been a consideration, with free Wi-Fi available throughout the property and a direct link to the Surasak BTS Skytrain station.
With floor-to-ceiling windows, the 390 rooms overlook either the Chao Phraya River or the city skyline. The hotel has meeting facilities, a fitness center, and an open-air infinity pool on the 14th floor. Dining options include Azure, with classic Mediterranean fare; Glass House, an all-day-dining restaurant with a show kitchen; Chefman, with Chinese cuisine, including a wide selection of dim sum; and Lobby Lounge for a drink and light snacks.
Started in 2008, Bangkok-based Eastin Hotels & Residences has hotels in Thailand, Vietnam, and the Middle East. This property will be the first under its Eastin Grand brand. Other brands include Eastin Easy, Eastin Hotels, and Eastin Residences.
