The InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort opened its doors on February 1 following an extensive 10-month refurbishment. The property is located on the former site of Baan Taling Ngam Resort, which was taken over by InterContinental Hotel Group earlier this year. (The original property featured in the New York Times’s 1000 Places to See Before You Die.)
Boasting 79 guest residences, including shoreline villas and cliff-side rooms and villas, the resort embodies Thai heritage with a contemporary, colorful edge. In addition to numerous fine-dining venues, the resort also features seven swimming pools, a 150-meter jetty, and a spacious spa perched 120 meters above the sea.
To celebrate the launch, the resort is offering its Ocean View Rooms from US$210 per night until July 15.
