First-class and business passengers traveling with Etihad Airways from Paris can now make use of the carrier’s new executive lounge at Charles de Gaulle Airport. Located at Terminal 2, the US$8 million facility will also be available to passengers flying to Abu Dhabi on an Etihad code-share ticket. Etihad has responded to rising demand by introducing two daily services from Paris to Abu Dhabi—one departing at 11 a.m., the other taking off at 9:40 p.m—with numerous connections to Asia.  Art curator Bertrand Epaud has been brought in to set the tone—original pieces include fish sculptures by glass-blower Jean-Claude Novaro and Arabic calligraphy by Hassan Massoudy. Apple workstations are tucked away in a quiet corner, while visitors may also make use of the new showers and changing facilities before boarding. The lounge also provides a free limo service from the airport to the center of town.
