A Taste of Asia in Hyatt Regency Amsterdam

The city’s leafy boulevards and botanical gardens served as the inspiration for the Hyatt Regency Amsterdam, the third Hyatt-branded hotel to open in The Netherlands. Its 211 rooms are punctuated by the colorful floral art works prominently displayed on its walls. The rooms range in size from 322 square feet to 1,356 square feet, providing ample spaces to guests who wish to visit the city and see sites such as the Rijksmuseum, Dam Square, and Canal Ring. Meanwhile, its lobby are adorned with lush foliage, a welcome sight for weary travelers.

Another interesting feature is its restaurant and bar, Mama Makan, which took its design inspiration from Jakarta’s dining and sitting rooms. Guests can sample its offerings, a fusion of Dutch café fare and Indonesian cuisine. Or they can simply try its numerous cocktails while admiring the venue’s tropical-inspired interiors.
