Cruise Explores Galapagos Islands

Emulate Charles Darwin with Silversea’s new expedition cruise to the Galápagos Islands aboard the 50-cabin Silver Galapagos (three-day cruises from US$2,335 per person). Well, not exactly: Darwin didn’t enjoy down-feather duvets, marble bathrooms with rain showers, and on-demand entertainment after a long day of tracking the islands’ endemic wildlife, which includes blue-footed boobies, fur seals and sea lions, and giant tortoises. Other plush features onboard the newly commission vessel include personal butler service, complimentary alcohol, and ocean views from all of the cabins. The round-trip cruises start from Baltra Island and guests can choose between two routes: north central or western. –Christi Hang
