The 32nd-floor club lounge at the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia (7 Raffles Ave.; 65/6337-8888) has always had killer views of downtown Singapore, a panorama enhanced in recent years by the ongoing development of Marina Bay. But now, after an extensive renovation by the same team that luxed up the hotel’s guest rooms three years ago, the lofty space is just as eye-catching on the inside. Walls of pale wood and faceted glass blocks bring a bright, elegant look to the lounge, which features a marble-floored kitchen area that dispenses gourmet snacks and beverages throughout the day (think champagne breakfasts, afternoon tea, evening hors d’oeuvres). Guests with club-level access can also expect a varying program of events, from bespoke cocktail sessions and sommelier-led wine tastings, to lavish Sunday brunches and portrait sessions with an art-school caricaturist in the aptly named Drawing Room, where an easel, paper, and pencils stand ready at the window for anyone who wants to sketch those fantastic views. –David Tse
