Air Astana of Kazakhstan, which last week celebrated its 10th year in the sky, is set to launch a service between Almaty and Hong Kong on July 6. The service will run three times a week on the airline’s Boeing 757 and 767 aircrafts. The airline already offers flights between Almaty and Seoul, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur.
Other services that will be launched or added to in the coming months from Astana include Baku (Azerbaijan), Beijing (China), Omsk and St. Petersburg (Russia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), and Tbilisi (Georgia).
Air Astana placed orders for three Boeing 787 Dreamliners and four Boeing 767-300ER earlier this year.
