Having opened its doors on November 11, Angsana Hangzhou aims to combine nature, modern comforts, and the charms of China’s bygone era.

Surrounded by the greenery and serene waters of the Xixi National Wetland Park — yet just six kilometers from Hangzhou’s downtown — the property offers a rooftop swimming pool with a hot tub and poolside lounge, meeting facilities, library, and restaurants that serve an array of international dishes.

The hotel boasts 59 king or twin rooms that blend high-tech amenities and classic Chinese design elements, a feature shared by Angsana’s sister brand Banyan Tree Hangzhou hotel, which opened in the area in January 2010.

Angsana’s introductory room rates start at about US$189 per night for stays between November 11 and February 29 and include daily breakfast for two, plus free-flow refreshments and snacks at the lobby lounge from 10:30am to 6pm.

To book the package, email hangzhou@angsana.com or check angsana.com.
