Bali is arguably the most popular island destination in Indonesia, with more than 3.7 million foreign tourists flocking to its shores in 2014. Starting June 3, Emirates will launch a new daily service to Bali, providing travelers yet another way to get to the paradise island.

The service marks Emirates’ 148th global destination, adding to the airline’s route network in the Asia Pacific region, which currently includes 23 destinations in 13 countries. The non-stop service between Dubai and Bali will be operated by a B777-300ER aircraft in a two-class configuration. Passengers prone to heavy souvenir shopping will benefit from the generous baggage allowance: 30 kilograms for those traveling in Economy Class and 40 kilograms for Business Class.

“We are pleased to be able to be able to offer the Emirates product on a daily basis, connecting passengers in Bali to Dubai to more than 80 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, via one convenient stop in Dubai,” said Thierry Antinori, executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Emirates. “The new service will greatly increase convenience, choice, and consistency of travel experience for consumers who currently have to travel via multiple stops, or via other points in Indonesia to reach Bali.”

Schedules are as follows:

  • Departure from Dubai EK398 at 8:20 a.m., arriving in Bali at 9:40 p.m.
Departure from Bali EK399 at 11:40 p.m., arriving in Dubai at 5:00 a.m. (next day).
