Hyatt has confirmed it now plans to open the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur in September. The hotel has 412 rooms (including 42 suites) and occupies floors 17 to 39 of a multipurpose building on Jalan Pinang located near Petronas Towers and the surrounding shopping and entertainment. Dining options will include a restaurant for contemporary Western and Asian cuisine and The Café, focused on authentic Malay, Chinese, and Indian fare.

The Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur will be Hyatt’s third property in Malaysia, following the Hyatt Regency Kinabalu and the Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort. Other Grand Hyatt properties in the region can be found in Bali, Bangkok, Beijing, Jakarta, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, and Tokyo.
