Slideshow: Why the Hilton Pattaya Won a Design Award

The Hilton Pattaya hotel snagged an HA+D Award for design excellence at a prize ceremony in Hong Kong a few weeks ago. The accolade celebrates excellence in hotel architecture and interior design, which this property in Pattaya, Thailand, has in spades.

Congrats to the hotel and to the design firm Department of Architecture, which is behind the lobby bar Drift, the all-day dining restaurant Edge, the specialty restaurant Flare, and the hotel’s two lobbies (on the ground and 16th floors).
