The latest InterContinental Hotel Group property opened this month in Osaka making it the seventh IHG property in Japan. Centrally located with amenities such as a 24-hour fitness center, views of greenery and even a wedding chapel, the InterContinental Osaka is a multipurpose high-end hotel.
The 272-room hotel is a five-minute walk from JR Osaka Train Station, making it convenient for business travelers and visitors. Equipped with four meeting and event spaces, it will be a likely choice for company gatherings and speakers. The location also features 57 serviced residences.
The hotel rooms are designed by Bilkey Llinas Design, a firm specializing in luxury hospitality. Features include stylish sliding doors, genuine stone furniture and traditional Japanese-colored fabrics. Rooms will also have a cache of the latest electronic gadgets.
Insiders say for a view of the city, dine on the 20th floor at Pierre restaurant for contemporary French offerings.
