Siem Reap Hotels: Hôtel de la Paix to Become Park Hyatt

Under a new management agreement, the Hôtel de la Paix in Siem Reap will be rebranded as the Park Hyatt Siem Reap. The original Hôtel de la Paix opened in 1957. In 2005 the property was resurrected, with architect and designer Bill Bensley combining hints of art deco with ancient Khmer design. The property will close for renovations on June 30, reopening in the first quarter of 2013.
