Pre-Clearance for Etihad Flights

Starting January 15, Etihad will extend its U.S. immigration pre-clearance services to flights from Abu Dhabi to New York (EY103) and San Francisco (EY183). The service is already available for flights to Chicago, Washington, Los Angeles, and Dallas as well as and on other New York routes, but the addition of these last two makes it now available on all of Etihad’s U.S.-bound flights. Easing the landing process, the pre-clearance allows passengers to bypass queues upon arrival in the states for all required checks—including U.S. customs, immigration, and security—by completing it in the Abu Dhabi airport before departure.
